Sample Not From Actual Lot

The travertine itself is great. However, the sample I received was clearly not from the same lot as what was for sale. I received a sample (4x4 size even though product in question is 6x6) that was a golden/honey/amber color. It looked like the color my clients had requested, so I placed the order. When I received it, I immediately noticed that the color was much different than the sample. The travertine I received was a yellow/sunny/dandelion color and lighter in tone than the sample. I would upload pictures but they don't offer that option.

I realize natural stone comes with an acceptable level of variation, but it was so different that the "new" color was not compatible with the room. I had to go with a different color stone altogether.

Unfortunately I was told we can’t put tile on our floor as it is too heavy. Very sad.

Inaccurate add

This tile is totally white and not blue. They even changed the specs and removed “light blue” after I purchased a sample.
